Winter Must-Haves for a Cold Canada

Baby, it's friggen cold outside!

Happy Dead of Winter everyone, where hibernation is the key to success. Some people think that Canadian's ride polar bears; I wish it were that easy, getting to school would be much more exciting. Unfortunately, just like everyone else, we must face the dreaded snow and freezing winds, although I wish we did it with style like The Night's Watch in Game of Thrones.

My Go-To's for the snowy winter season consists of warm coats, blanket scarves and fur-lined boots followed by thick leggings and cozy sweaters.

Outfit: coatbootsscarfleggings, handmade headband
This weekend, it snowed all day, every day. This is usually the tell-tale for hibernating all weekend, but I ventured into The Great White North to walk my dog and, you know, be a real human.

I honestly own a lot of coats, but I only wear 2 in the winter, and the majority of the time it's this one right here from Marks Work Warehouse. Light, warm and very flexible.

Pajar Boots are literally a gift from God - cute, warm and comfortable!

The Aritzia Scarf is made from wool and is very warm without being sweaty. In the winter, I basically only wear my Wunder Under Lululemon Leggings because they are thick, warm and comfortable (I honestly cannot be bothered with jeans). And finally, a shout out to my Handmade Headband from my godmother; a blue knit with black and gold side buttons.
